When we learn keyboarding, we start with "straight copy" -- typing exercises, words, and then sentences & paragraphs thtat someone else has written.  This is helpful when we are building skills.  The valuable lifeskill is when we learn to compose and key our thoughts.

Artificial Intelligence is getting pretty good -- some computer programs can have a remarkably realistic conversation.  We call a program like this a  "chatbox".

In competition, there are computer programs that are able to fool humans into thinking they are having a "chat" with another person, but they are really communicating with a machine.  Sound odd?  Try it yourself.
